Landed in the bath last night, diving into Steve Bartlett clips (love how he gets the good stuff out of interesting people), and especially anything by Dr. Tim Spector. Now, I might be a certified nutritionist who's read every book in food land, but this man's passion for gut health has taught me more than the entire food library!
Here's the dirty truth: We're rubbish at fiber. Rankings for worst fiber intake:
🥇 USA (not a medal to be proud of)
🥈 UK (doing slightly better, still terrible)
🥉 Europe (at least trying)
And guess what? This is why disease is on the rise. Most health dramas start in the gut - imagine walking around like a human dumpster with nowhere to offload! Your gut microbiome is meant to send everything south, but if that factory ain't smoking, that... stuff ain't going nowhere.
The Morning Factory Reset:
✨ Live yogurt (wake up those gut workers)
✨ Chia seeds (the morning shift)
✨ Sunflower seeds (the management team)
✨ Whole almonds (security detail)
✨ Ground linseeds (maintenance crew)
✨ Apple (quality control)
✨ Spoon of oats (the fuel)
Simple as that - get those factory lights on and chimneys smoking! Because nobody wants to be a walking dumpster at 50.
