The Lot region rewards those who take time to discover its treasures at a leisurely pace. When is check-in and check-out time?

Getting Here & Getting Around
What's the best way to reach your gites?
We provide directions upon booking.
Do we need a car?
Yes, a car is essential due to our rural location, especially if you want to visit all of the majestic sites in the area. There is a train station nearby which connects you to Brive and Aurillac with several stops in between. If you opt to arrive by train rather than car, we suggest booking our "Fill Your Fridge and Heat and Eat" option to ensure you have everything you need during your stay.
Can you arrange airport transfers?
Yes, we can arrange airport transfers for you. However, due to our rural setting, we strongly suggest hiring a car to fully enjoy the area and have the freedom to explore at your own pace. While there is a train station nearby that can get you around the region, you would be restricted by the timetable. If you do prefer to rely on transfers and public transport, please let us know in advance so we can help you plan accordingly.
Special Requests
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, we can accommodate dietary requirements. While we do not offer regular meals, we are happy to fill your fridge upon arrival and can arrange heat-and-eat menus from our superb local caterers. All food is locally sourced, and the selection from the region is exceptional. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions when booking so we can ensure appropriate options are available.
Do you offer any special packages or seasonal experiences?
We offer several special experiences, including:
Alternative Hen Weekends from Thursday to Sunday where your group can connect meaningfully while enjoying wellness and holistic therapies, delicious French cuisine, fine wines, and complete relaxation. It's the perfect alternative to traditional hen parties—offering a rejuvenating retreat experience rather than a typical night out.
Writers' Retreats during the quieter, off-season months. Our peaceful surroundings provide the ideal environment for authors to make progress on their books, with minimal distractions and maximum tranquillity. The serene forest-edge setting, comfortable accommodations, and slower pace create perfect conditions for creativity and focused writing, all while enjoying a relaxing getaway.
We also offer seasonal experiences based on local events and activities throughout the year. Please inquire about what might be available during your planned stay.
Will we be sharing the property with other guests?
No, once you book, the entire complex is for your exclusive use only. You will not be sharing with any other guests during your stay. While we do live on-site as your hosts, your space is completely separate from our home, ensuring your privacy and independence. This exclusive arrangement makes our property perfect for small family gatherings, friend reunions, wellness retreats, or simply enjoying a peaceful getaway without interruptions.
